More personal bests to end staggering World Championships for GB - Worlds day 4 review

Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson produced a stunning Free Dance to finish sixth in the Ice Dance on the final day of competition at the World Figure Skating Championships in Montpellier, France.

The duo, renowned for their crowd pleasing routines, received a standing ovation from the Sud de France Arena and a score of 119.28 from the judges. That gave them a personal best overall score of 198.17 and their best ever placing at a World Championships.

There's one more opportunity to see them skate, as they will be appearing at the Gala that is being broadcast on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport App tomorrow at 16:00.

Sasha Fear and George Waddell finished 17th in their first ever outing at World Championships. On arguably the biggest stage they have ever skated they were awarded 93.36 for their Free Dance. Combined with a season's best Rhythm Dance they ended with 160.05.

Earlier in the day Graham Newberry ensured he would be leaving France three new PBs. Coming into the Free Skate off the back of a personal best Short Program he left nothing on the ice. The letters PB appeared once again when his score of 135.48 was announced, meaning he ended the Men's competition with a total of 210.40, a huge increase from his previous best of 198.04. The final day rounded off a hugely successful competition for the British squad, the first to qualify a skater in each of the men's, women's, pairs and Ice Dance free skate since 1996.
