Applications for non-skating volunteer roles are being managed by Power of People.

To apply, you must first complete the Volunteer Profile Creation form, which can be found below. This form requires you to upload a profile photo that will be used for accreditation purposes, so please have one ready before you begin.

If you already have a Rosterfy account with Power of People from another event, you do not need to complete this form again. Instead, simply log in and complete the ISU European Figure Skating Championships 2026 – Volunteer Application Form from within your account.

Please do not use this form if you wish to apply for a skating role.

Applications are now open for a number of on and off-ice roles as part of the ceremonies and event operations. These roles are ONLY open to all current British Ice Skating members, and skaters may apply for more than one category if eligible.

Please carefully read the criteria below before applying. Pending test levels will not be accepted, and all applicants must be able to demonstrate lively and charismatic levels of performance.

For all required levels, pending tests CANNOT be accepted.

Ceremony Performers – On and Off Ice

Applicants will be grouped as follows:

• Group A: Must be 16 or over on 1st July 2025 Must have completed the Skate Star programme
  

• Group B: Must be 14 or over on 1st July 2025 Must be minimum Advanced Novice or full National 6, either in Ice Dance or Singles
  

• Group C: Must be 18 or over on 1st July 2025 Must be minimum Junior or full National 7, either in Ice Dance or Singles

Flower Children

• Must be 12 years old but not yet 17 on 1st July 2025

• Minimum level:

  • Basic Novice Singles, or

  • Advanced Novice Ice Dance, or

  • Full National 4, either in Ice Dance or Singles

Ice Marshalls

• Must be 16 years or older

• Minimum level:

  • Advanced Novice, or

  • Full National 6, either in Ice Dance or Singles

Additional Information:

• Skaters may apply for more than one role if eligible

• Audition tapes may be requested if the number of applications exceeds available places

• Some roles may require costume purchases at the athlete’s own cost

• Unfortunately, travel, food, and accommodation expenses cannot be covered

• Performers must be able to commit to:

  • Up to 10 on-ice rehearsals in Sheffield (September to January – including possible school day sessions)

  • Up to 10 off-ice rehearsals

  • Additional Zoom sessions, depending on the role

  • Final rehearsal likely on 12th January 2026

• The Opening Ceremony and Exhibition of Champions will take place between 13–18 January 2026

• Ice Marshalls and Flower Children may be required for training during the British Figure Skating Championships 2025

• Rehearsals and performances may take place during school time

• Parents/Guardians will not be permitted to attend rehearsals or backstage/event spaces. Tickets can be purchased to spectate.
