Meet your official European 2026 Hosts - Mark Hanretty & Molly Lanaghan!
Leading the show at the ISU Figure Skating European Championships 2026 will be former Great Britian ice dancer, commentator and choreographer Mark Hanretty, alongside British-Canadian ice dancer and 2025 Dancing on Ice champion Molly Lanaghan. Together, they’ll guide you through every twist, turn and standing ovation in Sheffield!
Mark brings years of international competitive experience, a sharp commentator’s eye and the warmth fans know from TV and live events. Molly adds the perspective of a current-generation performer – a British-Canadian ice dancer who has competed internationally and whose recent Dancing on Ice victory has made her one of the sport’s most exciting new media voices.
From big opening moments to post-skate reactions, Mark and Molly will keep fans informed, entertained and fully immersed in the action – helping make Sheffield 2026 an unforgettable experience on and off the ice.

Step into the heart of the ISU European Figure Skating Championships 2026 at our free city-centre Fan Zone in Sheffield’s Peace Gardens.
Enjoy a sustainable plastic ice rink that’s free to use for all ages, soak up live coverage from the Championships on the big screen, and experience a buzzing atmosphere with food, music and entertainment.
Whether you’ve got arena tickets or just want to be part of the excitement, the Fan Zone is your place to skate, watch and celebrate Europeans together.
