Icicles are ready to shine on the World stage in New York!

Nottingham based synchronised skating team, Icicles are preparing to take to the frozen stage at the ISU World Synchronised Skating Championships, in Lake Placid, New York.

The all female team of 19 skaters and 5 support staff will be flying across the pond full of confidence after recently winning Gold at the Britannia Cup!

Team captain, Eleanor Penfold commented “The Icicles are so excited to compete at the Synchronised Skating World Championships this year! We skate to Beyoncé in our short program and will be channeling her fierceness, strength and grace throughout the competition!”

Having completed twice before at a World Championships and placing 20th both times, the team will be looking to improve on their previous performances.


32 blades, 16 hearts in love with the ice, 1 team ready to compete with a nation supporting them! Lets Go Icicles!
