BIS member and accredited coach Mark Hanretty in Dancing on Ice final

Mark Hanretty, a BIS member and accredited coach, will skate in the year's Dancing on Ice Final with his partner Kimberly Wyatt. A firm favourite across the skating community Mark is sure to win votes from across the country.

Speaking before the final he said: "Yet again Dancing on Ice has been a fantastic experience and I’ve loved working with Kimberly who’s been phenomenal! It was a real pleasure to have British champions Lilah and Lewis join us this season too as the competitive world of skating and show worlds collided.

"I’m delighted to hear that the success of the show continues to make rinks busier than ever and I sincerely look forward to working with British Ice Skating to help nurture those new skaters into champions of the future just like Lewis and his team have done over the years."

Kimberly added: “I have always wanted to be an ice skater and the opportunity to dive into the world of skating has been a dream. Seeing young skaters training at our practice rinks has been so inspiring and I’ve loved having an insight into the dedication of both the competitive and recreational skaters.

"I’ve danced for most of my life but the skating workout has helped me get into some of the best fitness levels of my career - I can’t recommend it enough and look forward to continuing to skate for many years ahead.”
